KDOC-TV signed on in October, 1982 and has a rich history among Southern California broadcast stations. KDOC was initially owned by a consortium of investors who included entertainers Pat Boone, Jimmy Durante and Fess Parker. Over the years, KDOC has aired a variety of local and syndicated programming. KDOC is perhaps best known for the groundbreaking Wally George and “The Hot Seat” show, and Request Video, a precursor to MTV’s Total Request Live.

In 2006, KDOC was purchased by Bert Ellis and Ellis communications. Today, KDOC Los Angeles, based in the heart of Orange County, broadcasts to the entire Los Angeles television market of 5.6 million homes, drawing nearly one million viewers per week. KDOC Los Angeles is dedicated to providing Southern California viewers with a variety of great entertainment, from hit television shows to movies, sports, specials and more. We hope you enjoy watching KDOC Los Angeles.
