Master Control Operator – Part time KDOC-TV, Santa Ana, Orange County.

The Master Control Operator will ingest/ segment/ QC video materials and maintain proper On0Air procedures and related responsibliities. Operators are expected to work different shifts including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. High School Diploma or general equivalency diploma; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KDOC-TV is looking for a part-time on-air TV Host

Major Southern California TV station is seeking a part time on-air host to join the

KDOC-TV Family. The ideal candidate will:
Have creative writing skills.
Be a people person.
Passion for sharing ideas & information.
Have a professional and upbeat on-air appearance.
Be comfortable working in front of a camera and small crew.
Be articulate, be able to take direction, and work well with the creative team.
Assist the Creative Service Dept in maintaining & growing KDOC’s social media audience.
Participate in creative and station brand meetings as needed
Have 3+ Years of experience a plus
Journalism background a plus
Video editing experience a plus (Adobe Creative Cloud)

Position Summary: The Producer/Editor will be involved in all aspects of creating commercials: creative meetings, writing, shooting, & editing. This position will consist of daily interactions with the creative services manager and sales team, therefore flexibility within this position is crucial. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate to all parties while working effectively under multiple deadlines, and function under pressure. Requirements & Skills:

· Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite – Expertise in Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.

· Experience with ENG/DSLR cameras – Shooting, lighting, & editing video with S-log.

· Other experience – Graphic design and web (wordpress) experience is a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Must be self-motivated.

· Have an eye for detail with the ability to conceptualize projects.

· Producer/Editor will be involved in all aspects of creating commercials.

· Writing, editing, creative meetings, and capturing HD video & sound are all required.

· Communicate with multiple individuals and departments on a consistent basis.

· Producer will be dependable, flexible, and use each challenge as an opportunity to grow.

· Producer must be able to work effectively under multiple deadlines, and function under pressure.
